Prior to joining Walker, Kevin spent 15 years as a reporter for the Charlotte Observer, where he was known for writing compelling columns, features, blogs and online content. His stories have been picked up by media outlets across the country, and his work has received state and national recognition, including accolades from the N.C. Press Association and the Associated Press Sports Editors.

His perspective as a former journalist gives Kevin unique insight into the inner workings of the media and makes him exceptionally adept at cultivating relationships with reporters and crafting engaging and timely stories that garner press coverage for clients.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
